Legacy Wetlands Morning Light by Sharon Repple 7.5 x 9.5 
Another small painting for an upcoming art show held in our neighborhood on Nov 19, 2011, this one featuring another wetland nature areas.  The birds nest in the long grass in the center of the wetland

Sharon, this is bright, fun, great greens, nice mix of loose and detail.  Your show is going to be great.

I also enjoyed the warm summery colours you used behind the birds.The tranquil scene of th birds in the middle and the hint of people living there on the right makes for a very interesting story.Well laid out and painted

Sharon, I like very much your last two paintings, the selection of warm and cold colors and the very relaxing atmosphere..

This is very nice.  I like the warm light that draws the viewer in to be slowed down by the birds. My eye wandered around in the grasses before looking at all the nice greens.  Good luck with the show!

Thanks everyone, I'm pleased that you like the colors in both paintings.  We have a beautiful retirement community with wetlands and ponds scattered throughout.  I'm looking forward to our show but I am realistic about our economy and the potential for possible sales. Sales or not I'll keep on painting!
