Love the effect of the overhead light!  Perhaps the window panes could use some reflective color or some reflections of what ever is across from them or even perhaps of what is inside.  Good work Dale

Very nice Dale. I agree with Richard about the windows...maybe some reflection. Love the lighting.

Thanks for the feedback! The Miller's Bay area in upstate Iowa is a wonderful place.

If I may say...I like the lack of reflection as well as the darkened interior. My focus is kept outside and on the structure. Between the aggressive ivy and weather glazed windows, it looks to me like an evenly matched contest between man and nature is being illuminated here. Well, this is a very thought provoking piece. I think I like it; yes, very much so.

Dale - this piece is very well composed as usual- you have a strong sense of design. I also like the near abstract composition. Nice work and thanks for the comments on my little marsh study. Congrats on the dealership show too!

Happy Holidays to you and yurs.

I love the composition and good use of unique lighting.

I intentionally left out the reflections. It was a mental image of the scene without daylight. The vine, window and light are real; the lighting, coffee and oil can were imaginary. Thanks for your feedback.

Really grove on this work! and Thank you dmac for your comments as well. Night scenes are hard to pull off but you do great.

Thanks Xavier! This was a time of painting that's held fondly in my memory. Cheers!
