While traveling through Fredericksburg ,Texas one spring I took this picture of the poppies at the Wildflower Farm. It was an amazing display and of course I had to paint this picture. It's impressionistic in style, which I sort of lean to when I paint. I paint primarily in oils now,because of the richness of colors and depth for landscapes.
