    Paul, thank you for being willing to share your insight with us. Your website is very impressive. Many of the artists on this site have very impressive websites, but they mainly paint in oils so you have been extremely helpful to those of us who paint in watercolor.

    Helen, Thank you. I know I have come across that information, but because I didn't use it right away, I didn't think about it when I looked at this. It is one of those tricks that I know about and use sparingly, but for fur it should be very appropriate. I'll try that.

    Lori, no, I just found out about it. The things that look interesting to me are that it is clear, for watercolor, and it supposedly enhances the colors. I was a little concerned about whether regular varnish might yellow or change the original colors in an unpleasant way.
