I got to watching youtube about watercolor painting and came across this demo on how to paint onions. Thought I would give it a try. It's not as good as his but I don't think its too bad . 12 x 7 on arches rough x

This is the finished product.. made the beets a brighter red so that they look more like strawberries. I also added a few seeds with my pen that don't show up here. I also scrapped a few highlights with my exacto knife.

Here is my WIP for now. I am happy with the grapes but the strawberries need to be done by Sara or Marsha. One of the ladies at the art center ask me if they were beets. I told her that I was hurt and that unfortunately they did look like beets. I guess I will see if I can save them with a little ink...
