Several ways you can do what you are trying.... the louvers will be a combination of hard and soft edges. For hard edges in acylic: 1. Thanks Jay, I'll try that. Normally I use a paper palette on a custom-fitted wet sponge, but I also regrettably used the plastic lid. It would make a nice watercolor palette but only if I can clean it first. I also use white plates, which clean up fine with warm water, but then my paint dries overnight...

Does anyone know how best to remove hardened acrylic paint from a plastic palette? Mine is a Masterson Stay Wet palette. I have tried boiling water to soften the acrylics, but it's a slow and ineffective job scraping with a palette knife.
