My latest and still on the easel. A painting of the Potomac in Maryland. A very beautiful state for an artist. I visited the falls here and couldn't resist the challenge to try to paint the white water. Here is my result. All comments welcome .

I have added glazes of reds and oranges to the sky and here is the result. It tames the blue a bit. And it adds a little more color to the clouds. Does this look better?

This is a painting that is still wet. Just finished it. The other evening I looked out across the lake while the sun was low in the sky and this is what I saw. The sky was so pretty that I couln't resist getting the paints out. I also got the camera out since I knew that the sky wouldn't stay...
