    I have been using water soluble oils for several years and really like them. I thin with their mediums though - adding too much water makes them gummy. They are real oils and dry the same as real oil - I add their fast drying medium sometimes if I want to speed up drying. You might want to check out...

    Hi Patrick, I have yet to try the Golden Open paints. I do have used (and loved) the Golden acrylics for years, especially their mediums. For the last 2 years I have been using Chroma's Interactive acylics. As Lori has explained very clearly what they do I won't repeat that info but I will add...

    Last summer, I begain experimenting with Interactive Acrylics and now I've got some time to experiment some more. Interactive acrylics have both slow drying and fast drying mediums that can be added. And one can spray the surface of the paint on the canvas to keep it workable. What I'm thinking...
