Here is my first WC pencil painting. I have mixed feelings about the pencils. I will give them more of a try before I give up on them. This is Flamingos 5x7 on stonehinge paper. It turned out splotcher than I would have liked but maybe with practice and a different paper it won't happen again.

I got to watching youtube about watercolor painting and came across this demo on how to paint onions. Thought I would give it a try. It's not as good as his but I don't think its too bad . 12 x 7 on arches rough x

This is the finished product.. made the beets a brighter red so that they look more like strawberries. I also added a few seeds with my pen that don't show up here. I also scrapped a few highlights with my exacto knife.

Well I finaly got off my lazy butt and did something this month. It is a 5X7 ink and watercolor drawing on Stonehing (AKA Stonebridge ) paper. I don't know if I should take my pen and add some folage to the green area or just leave as is. I need some feedback.

I finished a drawing of the flintlock today. It is 8 1/2 x 11 charcoal and cont'e crayon on light tan.Canson Mi-Teintes.

I need some opinions here. I am at least close to finishing this little ink drawing and I can't decide if it needs a shadow to ground it or leave it as is. The bottom right is a shadow the camera added. It is 5x7 .05 micron pens on bristol.

This is the turkey feather that I made last night. The tip isn't as white as it apears in the picture. I got my bottom too dark. I have not got use to acylics drying darker than they appear when they are still wet.

Hi all I hope you had a good Thanksgiving. We are having ours tomorrow so that more family can be here. We are down in Jens neck of the woods Arkansas. Great weather I wish I would have brought some shorts. To make a long story short my sister in-law was having some problems after the death of a family...
