The top one reminds me of a place where my son & I used to ski & hike. The mt side had been carved away in curvey trenches like the drawing.

But I find the hole in the forest interesting...

Nice new work! Sorry I haven't been on here to see it lately. Hole in the Forest is my favorite. I think it really conveys the sense of solitude that I seek when I go hiking in the woods. I always love it when I come upon some grove of trees that almost feels like a "room" in the forest - you know what I mean? This piece immediately evoked an emotional response from me. Thanks for posting!
