question on pricing and what you think...

I never know what to price my work and when I do I always end up regretting it as I feel I have under priced drastically but at the same time I feel that the prices I really want to set are to high. As an example the girl with the glasses in the shape of the pony I originally wanted to offer for around $500 but I then had a moment of self doubt so I lowered the price to $300, it sold but I regretted it...am I being too emotionally attached to my pieces?

I've searched for other artists in my state that do similar works to me and I haven't really found anyone so I find it hard to get an idea. I use prismacolor pencils, acrylics and inks on arches watercolour paper in (roughly) A4 -A3 size, I can spend anywhere from 10-60+ hours on a piece.

I would love to know what you think I should be pricing my work for?

Any suggestions would be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Katie
