Somewhat new artist

Ive been doing pastels for awhile, but since I'm relatively young I'm not that experienced and definitely not as good as some of the people on here. I have to use references for almost every portrait I do, and I'm horrible at drawing people. I have started to do commissions, which is a lot of fun. 

This is an 8"x10" portrait of a sugar glider in soft pastels on velour paper. Approx time was two hours. 

Just wanting some opinions and critiques (:

Hi, Toxic! For a rodent, he looks fairly friendly. Why are his two front paws so different-looking? The tail is rendered very nicely, but it seems to be coming out of the side of his body. I am sure it's all just a trick of the perspective and the from above view angle. His face is adorable! 

I am sure whomever commissioned it was delighted.
