Thank you so much for the wonderful  challenges this month Marsha I really enjoyed all the wonderful work of everyone. I am now in Florida for the winter and will not be getting on much because my data is limited. The man said I could post paintings once in a while but not to excess and not to type a lot. It renews on Dec 28 so if I have a lot left over I will really do a lot of data at once. LOL. Then I will talk you socks off. I will still follow you artists by looking and I will still know what you are up too. Have a wonderful Christmas and I will mail my cards this month. Best wish's to you all.

Hello,   well I am back again at long last and I am so sorry that  I just can't catch up and respond to everyone personally. Very festive feeling to everything. Good to see Sam is back.

This is the basis for a card but the lettering is done by hand after I have printed the painting on card.

 watercolour only this time.

Sarah

Sarah, welcome back from your travels. This beribboned camel with his bells and ornaments is an excellent subject for a Christmas card. What medium or product do you use to do lettering on the dark background?

Dear Sarah ~ Nice to see you back.  We missed you!  Lovely watercolor of the "decorated" camel.  He really stands out against that beautiful dark background.  This will make a fine holiday card! Star

Beautiful camel Sarah.  I like the great contrast between subject and background.

Sarah, good to see you back, your camel makes a perfect Christmas card. I love all his ribbons and the bg gives the impression of night time desert. Nicely done as always.

Sarah, your colorful camel will make a great card.  You must show us your lettering when it is done.

Liz, hope you have a good winter in Florida, we will miss you. Drop in when you have a chance.

Sarah, this is a wonderful w/c painting of the camel. He has a proud lift of his head as if he knows he's dressed up. I love the jewel colours you used and then used again in the background. The distant horizon sets the scene as a desert, well done. When I was young at home my Mother had three wise men riding camels as tree ornaments. It was always special to get to hang them but only in the proper way. Very nice that your painting brought back a fond Christmas memory.
