Hi all -

My name is Rebekah and I seen the ad "How to Paint Flowers with Artist Daily so I logged on because I love to paint flowers.  I primarily work in acrylics however I still explore oils from time to time.  I have exhibited my are for over the last five or six years, and I'm somewhat a late bloomer.  I taught myself some painting techniques when I was in my mid teen (ages ago) then pursued a far different path working in natural resources for close to twenty years.  I have seriously been painting for the last seven or eight years, and enjoy sharing the results with others.  I have attended an artist critiquing meeting once a month religeously for the past five years and accepted membership in artist associations.  I am currently a member of the Island Art Association in Fernandina, Florida, and a member of the 1st Coast Plien Air Painters of Northeastern Florida.  I am serious about advancing my art through continuous practice.  I love painting, experimenting with the media, and photography that supports advancement in my work.  I exhibit mostly studio paintings however I do show a plien air piece now and then.

I am also new to this forum.I want to appreciate you for your interest and dedication.I have interest to watch and learn.I made a rough painting on my pillow covers in my holidays,later I stopped doing it.
