Kim T (Kim513)
C&C welcome!
I have enjoyed all the chatter about the bears and wondered if it would like a companion? By the way my monitor wallpaper is of part of the galaxy...brilliant colours and cheers me up on a snowy, freezing day like today.
I collect teddy bears and this one has her own cushion. Pastel on dark Ingres paper.

C & C's always welcome
Sarah - This does have a warm glow that's very welcome during this cold spurt. Your bear looks ready for tea - very proper. Excellent detail and texture.
Hello Jen,
I have around fifty bears......I blame it on the war (WW2) there were no bears/or toys available in those days so I appear to have made up for it by buying one in every country I visited in later years. I even have one which is six inches tall and is kneeling in prayer on my bedside table.
The bear is approximately A4 unframed. Pleased you like her.
Hello Kim,
I hope there is still honey for her tea (Pooh Bear)!
Thank you for your kind comments.
Yes Sarah your bear does look very proper almost regal sitting on her cushion. She would have come in handy yesterday to warm up our day when we had a blizard go through and our world turned white for some time. The pastels give this such a nice soft appearance, just right for a teddy bear.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
Hello Bonnie,
thanks for saying such nice things.....snowing here too and bitterly cold. .I am uploading a Canadian Grizzly (water colour this time) so that the dentist may choose.
Hearadth Your bears are delightful. Love the grizzly the DDS will love it.
C and C always welcomed
Sarah, this is a very nice painting of the grizzly bear. I like the background, too.
Sam/Sammy C & C Welcome

Sarah, very nice watercolour of the grizzly bear. I also like the background. This bear is not one you'd like to curl up with. We don't have grizzly's here, just black bears and a few too many of them but they are all hibernating now. You have really captured the bear and his surroundings.
To Everyone...I'm so behind with my comments to all of you and I'm sorry for not being around to keep up. This has been a not so good month for me for some reason. I think the weather has had me in a real funk. I'm going to focus on next month and try to keep up.
I have looked back at everyone's drawings and paintings for this month and they are all great!

C&C's are welcome.
(No digital alterations please)
Sarah - I have had the privilege of seeing quite a few of your works from PaintDoodles and this has to be one of your best, IMO. The bear and the background together make it superb.
Sarah, your grizzly painting is wonderful. He has such girth to him and his coat looks so thick. I love the background work you've done.
