I am very new to this site and this is my first post on the forum,
I love working with pastels, but I use them in a different way to most pastel artists, I think. I use layers of pastel working from dark (or complementary colours) to create texture. I use this texture to create landscapes. My usual style is quite impressionistic such as in this painting of a forest road.
