hey everyone, just started poking around artist daily here. i've been practicing my watercolor for about 8 months now. this is the first time i've painted a fluffy animal, and i think it turned out pretty well.

i always always mess up thebackground, this time i decided to paint the background first but i dont know..something doesnt seem right

any critiques are welcome as im really trying to become better.

This looks very good.  i suggest  you take your picture for your post at a right angle to the painting.  The angle on this post does not show the painting as you would look at it if to was on a wall and distorts the view of it.

Agree with Charlie's comments.  This looks great.  I'd like to see a straight ahead shot also.
