Hi all, i have recently built a computer desk, the top surface is made from mdf, i used a primer and then painted using acrylic paints. I was just wondering what would be the best clear varnish to protect it? i think i am going to get a thin perspex sheet for the top but would still like to protect my work underneath it. But if there is a varnish hard enough that i dont need to use a sheet then i wont. Has anyone been in a similar situation?? any help or advice is appreciated, cheers!
Hardware store water based polyurethane varnish. Available in gloss, Semi-gloss and matt or low-luster.
I don't have information about it , i think you should search about on the Google you can get useful suggestion from their or any person experience who is in the same situation, Jay Babina has also suggested their opinion you should follow it.
