When I paint I also use a dynamic balance. I put the painting on an old record turntable and spin it and add paint to the edges to get it in perfect balance..

It's interesting that all my paintings that get dynamic balanced get sold. I would only recommend this to more advanced artists.

Thanks for entertaining this question.  I looked it up before asking, but could not find a satisfactory answer as it relates to art work.

Can you please explain static and dynamic balance.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Jeanette: the original poster is probably not an artist at all and is just making noise - that's why I responded with what I wrote.

There is no such thing as static or dynamic balancing in art. Static and dynamic balancing has to do with how they balance your tires in automotive work.

Jay, Thanks,  well now I don't feel so crazy.  That was the kind of descriptions I was getting.  Really appreciate you responding to me.

I see on many posts that you know quite a bit about acrylics (haven't looked at water color and drawing lately), you are a valuable resource.

I am a new artist (if I dare to call my self that) started at 58 now 60, self taught, and  loving  it all so far.  Again thank you.
