Hi, Yes, I am curious too about the point system and it's purpose. Thanks

(I am hoping so many points gets one a free magazine or a handy, dandy tube of paint SurpriseWink )

Hi Gang. Sorry it's taken me so long to reply about the point system. Right now, the point system is just for fun. You get points for doing certain things on the site (posting to the forum / gallery, replying, rating, etc.) and those points accumulate with you. We are thinking about ways that we might use the point system and translate that into some kind of reward or something, but have no definitive plans right now.

So for now, just have fun looking at the points, but they don't mean a whole lot. We are, however, keeping track of them so that if we do decide to do something with them in the future, you will still be credited with all of your activity on the community.

Since this seems to be a question area, may I be allowed to ask you a question?

Well here goes, I had applied to be a member here back a month or so ago. I never received

an e-mail (to my knowledge). So, I entered once more, received an email with a password and now

I want to delete the first one.

Do you auto delete if there is no activity?

If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail, there's a good chance that your first submission simply didn't go through (internet gremlins Sad.

You'll know by looking at the membership roster. Did you use a name other than Kells L.?

Yes, and tjat name is in the members page.........I looked and it is there...I am the reason for this to have happened because I may have received the email ,but I lost the  password or something and after wailting a month or so, I just reapplied using another name.

I want my first attempt to be removed....just look for Kells Mooty and delete it, please.

Thank you.

Hi all - I'm also curious about why the point system allows for some to have 20 pts for some posts and 5 pts for others?  Not that I'm crushed (lol) but I noticed that some members get 20 pts for posting on the same subject that I get 5 for...  ;-)  Again, only curious - unless it comes to racking up points for new tubes of paint!  Ha!  ;-)

I you post a reply to a question, and the person who posted the question marks it as an official "answer" to the question, then your reply will get 20 points intead of the normal 5.

See, now dang ... had you started a new thread and posted this as a question, I would have just got 20 points. LOL!

LOL Eric. I was wondering about that whole 'question' thing.

Kells, your original account has been removed. Thanks.
