Thanks for hosting Sam I enjoyed watching spring bloom....
MARSHA
C & C Always Welcome
It takes courage to learn about oneself from one’s failures as well as from one’s successes.
Sammy - Thanks so much for hosting. I was in such a stupor all month that I didn't even think about posting my silly little leprechaun again! I did start on the horses and it is far enough along to at least photograph, but I keep forgetting to take the camera upstairs with me. Maybe my feeble brain will cooperate tomorrow.
Thanks again, Sammy, for a great month of challenges for all of us!
Holly
C & C always welcomed and encouraged.

Thank you, Marsha. It's 3/4 finished. I should finish it next week and will post it here then.

It's finished! At last! A lot of time has been invested in this portrait of my daughter, Nancy. The facial features were easy. It was getting all that skin to be even and smooth that required so much time. I saw a lot of purple in the shadows of her face and neck so I gave her a lavender shirt. I didn't want to draw the viewer's eye down to the corners with that colorful shirt she was wearing.
Again, it is 14"x10" on Crescent Illustration Board using many brands of colored pencil. Thanks for looking.
C & C's always welcome
Really impressive Sam lavender everywhere that blends to the point I didn't notice it until you brought my attention to it great James
Sammy- This is terrific! So much perfection I don't know where to start commenting. From her soft hair to her sparkling eyes to her smooth skin at the neck and the softness of her blouse. Even the earring is done right it looks 3-D. If I have to pick one thing that I like most it would be the eyes. She looks like she has stars in her eyes! The green BG compliments violet nicely. Great job!
Sandi
C&C are welcome and appreciated.
Jen, James and Sandi, your very kind and positive comments are most appreciated. Thank you.
Jen, I've never watched Dr. Who so I don't know who Donna is. I hope she is scrumptious.
