Nice spring painting Fred the bears look ready to go
Jim C&C welcomed
Fred, glad you found something springy to paint. The bears look great with such shiny fur. Love the daffodils, colorful birds and bunnies peering over the shrubs. This definitely is a celebration of spring. I can hear the birds singing. Those bears are hungry. Hope they find some berries and honey. Thanks for participating in the Challenge.
Since you like to do landscapes, I'm sure you can think of lots of spring themes.

Fred- Nice to see the Bears coming back for the Spring time. I can see a variety of birds coming out too, there is a red woodpecker and some other little birds, very springy. Good job.

C&C are welcome and appreciated.
FRED - It is spring and the hibernation time is over, time to come out and smell the flowers...
That goes for the rest of us as well, I think we need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and jump into art with a spring in our steps...

C & C Always Welcome
It takes courage to learn about oneself from one’s failures as well as from one’s successes.
Another spring
James, you sure have sprung into spring. Very, very well done horses and you made than stand out against that dark background very well. Baby looks so dependent on Mama and she looks to be a caring Mama. You used wonderful colors on their fur. You did a good job with the hay at their feet. The light area with the saddle on the left balances the horses and points toward them. Wonderful spring painting.
Marsha- Well said. Hip Hip Hooray!
James- Love the colors of your horses. You made their lodging very pleasant. The ground looks very nice. Mama and Baby are attentive to each other. I have been trying to figure out what are the brown thingies on the left (our left) side. Look to me like logs but what are the black and white circles? My knowledge of farmyard is practically nil.
O.K. Just finished reading Sammy's post above. She identified the brown thing as Saddle. Good eyes Sammy and James never mind my question. I need to read and learn more about farm life.
Thank you Sam now I'm done with the easy [for me ] ones I love to try to paint horses also barns James
Thanks Sandi The circle is cinch strap ring the saddle came out darker than I wanted but It's OK I wish I could figure out how to start a sentence lower on the sheet so I could do my replys all together it would save postings Thanks again James
Thanks James for your info on the circles.
