Hi there!

I'm new to this site, and I wanted to ask around for ideas in the drawing field. I am a senior in art school, and I have to have a senior exhibition. I have a couple of ideas such as:

- Self portrait challenge: #1 With Props, #2 Experimenting with Light, #3 Mood

- Identity: Close-up of different body parts, exploring identity

- Still life with my toys over the years

I'm not quiet sure what other ideas that could be out there and I'm looking towards the art community for ideas, suggestions, anything.

As for materials. I was thinking stongehenge paper (20X32 or something like that) and use any drawing medium. I was thinking charcoal pencil, but maybe there are other ideas that could work.

Thanks for all the help!!!!!

Hi,  I saw your post and may not have an answer for you but I am also a senior who just started to draw/paint 2.5 years ago and am loving it.

i really don't know many others like me so I thought I would connect.  As far as your project, since you have so much life experience and have probably have seen and felt a lot, I always feel something that moves you such as mood is most rewarding, but then again I don't know what you like.  I have never done a self portrait, but find I love drawing faces and the body.  I purchased so much paint and like it but I really love to draw which I never thought was possible.  If anything just know that there are others out there to speak to.

Hi

I love drawing and painting. I don't paint that much, but I want to learn more, especially plein air painting, and landscape painting. I have since figured out what I am doing for my senior show. What school do you go to, if I may ask?
