Hi!  Years ago...about 15 (?) there was an article in American Artist about an artist who use Playskool's little people in their work.  They used them to portray social issues.  I'm planning a similar lesson plan and would love to show their work but don't remember their name and unfortunately, that issue was destroyed by water.  Help!!

Hi,

The artist was Darrell Fusaro and the article was published in the Nuts & Bolts section of an issue in the early 1990's. We did a second piece by the artist and included it in the first edition of Pastel Highlights. It doesn't have the Playschool figures in it, but I believe the artist has a page on Face Book and I would suggest writing to him to see if he still has photographs of the pastel paintings of kids' toys.

Does that answer your question?
