Thanks, Everyone.  This "Golden Girl" painting received a First Place In Oils at the Glendale Art Competition, 2012.  It also sold, both of which made me extremely happy.

It is so perfect, I couldnt stop looking at the painting. I am not surprised that it won first place and sold! Congradulations .

The painting is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your technique. I work in watercolour, acrylic and I am starting to work on glazing with oils. Oils are very new to me so I am working on technique to achieve the results you have achieved..detailed realism. I really love the light and shadow you have in the work.
