wow th eyes a nice and oh the colors! warms be up to look at - im not a fan of cats but this is a suburb painting!

SIAMESE Watercolor Cat Portrait

Just finished it two days ago. I was initially attracted to colors and intensity of the original photograph, so I wanted to portray those qualities. I used several layers of colors, trying to stay true to the value tones. In general, I try to avoid using masking fluid, so I only added whitish whiskers with white ink on one side of the cat. I hope you like it :-)
