2008, 24"x18" Compressed charcoal stick on paper

This was a drawn from life homework assignment I did last year for my Drawing 2 class. I just threw random stuff together because I had/have absolutely no idea about composition. Time constraint and procrastination were hindering factors as well. I added in the border because my professor wanted us to include them--I obviously didn't like the idea.

Love your work. Sometimes having a time crunch can be a good time -forcing us to focus and simplify. Looks like it worked for you.

Chino, you are doing very well in your drawings and I'm sure you got an A in the class.  These early drawing classes are vital to your growth as an artist.  I can look at an artist's work and usually tell the ones who didn't learn to draw well first.  Draw, Draw, Draw

Keep up the good work, Sharon
