Hello every one. I am from New Zealand and I really enjoy reading the articles in the magazine and on the website. I have only seriously started painting the last two years and am very excited about it and keen to learn. I paint mainly in acrylics, but like drawing also and the challenge of water colour is always an invitation. Keen to meet like minded people.

Welcome to the group, Dora. I haven't ever seen New Zealand, but I have heard that the landscape is beautiful.

Hello Dora, and welcome fellow acrylic's painter - you will see that there are quite a few who paint with acrylics on this site.  Also to encourage those who like to draw there have been a couple of Saturdays this past year that have been set aside  as 'drawing days' with encouragement to post any work done - I'm sure this will occur again and something for you to look forward to.  AA Newsletters are very informative and introduce you to different artists which will broaden your learning experience.  Enjoy.

Thank you to everybody who welcomed me to the forum. You all seemed to have painted so much and the work is great!  I am still working full time, so the time to paint is very limited, but I am working on it. To see what you all have accomplished, is a real incentive for me to stay focused.
