Had another chance to get out today, although it was cloudy and kinda dull.  At least the fog cleared by the time we got started.

I worked on this for about an hour before it started to turn to mud, so I stopped and did two others that aren't worthy of showing.  We're going back to this location again on Saturday so I will finish this then.

Marley Place, London Ontario.  Oils, 8x10 inches.

Congratulations!  I mostly paint from picture references. I do not often have a chance to finish a painting in once sitting. I admire artists who can do Plein Air paintings so well. It looks wonderful!

PS: I am in Toronto, Ontario

Ah! This is gorgeous! A relaxing, picturesque view. Maybe I'm in just the right mood, but all of these pieces of art with a quality of fog or chillin the air are really hitting home. I can imagine myself walking this road in a warm sweater, heading toward a cup of cocoa.

One hour!  that is great!  I have not done a plain air painting.  From photos or Imagination but, I have done a plain air graphite drawing once.

I must say you did a fantastic job!  I love the city of London ON.  My sister lived there and it is the most beautiful and cleanest city I have been in in Ontario.  I am from Ottawa.
