We had the first Annual Paint out in Grand Bend, Ontario yesterday. It was windy, cold with the threat of thunderstorms but we still had 15 hardy souls who turned out for the event. The sun came out just as we finished at 3 pm, of course.
I managed to get 3 paintings done, the last one was an afterthought and probably still needs more work.
Oils, 12x16 inches.
This was my first of the day, huddled down with the wind directly in my face. I really liked the way the water color changed as it became river from the lake. (Huron).
Second painting of the day. Out of the wind this time, a little warmer and happier. Oils, 6x20 inches.
Third and final of the day. Oils, 8x10 inches.

Bet that was a cool day to paint! (pun intended)
The light house is the one I like..
Maybe we should have a lighthouse painting tour next summer???
Now that's a great idea .. count me in !
