Thank you for responding.I am new at this. I am very frustrated. Do I upload the photo first, than my description.I need to know the sequence .
Also how do I enter the size of photo, it is not prompting me to do so. Please help
Welcometo the group. Just touch the icon 2 to the left of the smiley. Looks like a film strip. It will prompt you to upload. You have to change the size in your own program before uploading I think.
Hope that helps....look forward to seeing your work
C&Cs always welcome
Hi Joe, I am sorry you are having a hard time posting. It is as Karen says. Just hit the reply button and a line will appear at the top under description . Press the green square thingy and it will take you to browse. Find the picture you want to post and hit send or whatever your computer says to send. Then just upload your picture. You can write your description before or after you post the picture. Then hit post. Sometimes you have to wait a few seconds for one thing to kick in so be patient. If you continue to have difficulties contact Courtney Jordan by private conversation.
i look forward to seeing your work. :)
Jen C & C's always welcome

I had a hard time choosing from all the references you sent! 30 plus! Some are saved for another time I tried to get the clearest and most varied ones so please don't be upset if I did not use all that you sent. Someone else would have come up with a different selection! I used the ones you had taken yourselves mostly to show how each of you view our world. So now I hope everyone is well and ready to go! Have fun!

Joseph, what a lovely painting! I especially like your use of white highlights and your saturated colors. There is a lot of complex detail here. Lovely!
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
worth the effort ...especially like the apple and fruit in the glass bowl.
feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
the original painted part is 2.25" x 3.5" inches...I was interested in the shapes created by the stamens so it is not meant to be a botanical interpretation of the lily. The lilies in my garden are still in bud and orange in colour so this one was new to me.
watercolour on HP 5 paper.
Sarah, VERY nice lily.
Sarah, the contrast of light and dark on the stamens is beautiful, as is the combination of gold and violet.
Thanks Charlie and Alex.
You may not like this version!!!! It is on rough paper, mostly wet in wet. Original is almost 7.5"square.
I couldn't resist another attempt...much more of the essence of a lily to me anyway!!
Excellent. VERY good drawing leading to an EXCELLENT painting.
Hi Sarah, I like this! You have a touch of the abstract here, perhaps, but it's lovely.
