Charlie, I love his attitude! You might look at his back legs. The leg closest to us should be down further or he will overbalance. I think the red bull is very appropriate. I am working on his girlfriend Buttercup!
Karen and Charlie thanks for the good words on my soccer boys. Where is everyone??
Jen C & C's always welcome
Jen, this is a wonderful painting of the boys. The colours are superb. Love it.
Charlie, very powerful red bull with lots of character.
Sam, so good to hear from you and that you are finally getting over your surgery. Good luck with your recovery from cataract surgery, I'm sure you will find it much better than before and I hope it won't be long before your back.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
Charlie nice job on the powerful red bull
C&Cs always welcome
I prefer the penultimate version of the soccer boys simply because it seems more 'boy like' to me...I can't explain it any better than that...perhaps because I am more used to seeing muddier footballers!!!!
Hello Charlie.......Red Bull is a potent beer over here (or so I am told by the adverts on TV!)
yours looks as if he is weighing up his chances.....I wonder what he is looking at? I like the way you have used the brush strokes to show the contours of the bull. Bully for you.
feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
Jen, thank you for your comments. Unfortunately he is now on Ohio with my daughter. This work was a present for her. We had a red china bull that she liked as a little girt but it got broken so I painted this for her.
Bonnie, Karen and Sarah, thank you.

Bonnie, thanks. Sarah, perhaps it hadn't rained in a while and the pitch was dry! So no mud! :)
Well today I did this little quickie of the lovely buttercup. 5x7 oil on canvas board. She's very wet so all the colours are a bit light.
Great job Jen. He looks so relaxed just watching us. Nice brushwork.
Hello Jen...agree again with Karen's comments
Jen, you did such a nice job of buttercup. You captured the relaxed pose and the sun in the buttercups. It takes me back to that warm sunny day.
In a hurry so hope this will scan ok.
Loosely based on the crayfish ref.photo. Watercolour, 8" x 6". I actually prefer it viewed rotated upside down......looks like a landscape to me!!!
Jen, beautiful job on Buttercup.
Sarah, also a beautiful job on your crayfish.
C&c are welcome! Love what you do.
Love who you are. Love nature. Love art.
Thank you Karen, Bonnie, Sarah and Charlie.
Sarah, nice work on the crayfish . Good job on making the water around him.
Thunk, I am glad you found time for these delightful sketches. Hope the exams are not making you too crazy!
