This is my first post.
My art is in a transitional period. In high school I did a good degree of realism, mostly charcoal based. Then I focused mostly on colour during a sort of abstract realism phase oil painting phase. Eventually I switch into Sumi/watercolor. My current project is a hand drawn animation. My style has sort of morphed again. Here is an example of it: http://i.imgur.com/MUwbpXl.jpg ...and another... http://i.imgur.com/ARgM2Ki.jpg
I am trying to perfect this style by removing all those ugly black outlines but I think it would help me to know what style this is. I would really love to study the work of some other artists with a similar style to help inspire the betterment of my work.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post.
I am so sorry. I didn't mean to double post this. I tried to delete one but couldn't figure it out. I am so embarrassed.
The second post has been deleted. No worries.
Don't worry about "style". At this point, do the type of artwork you enjoy doing.
If you truly enjoy doing artwork, work at it as often as you can. Be sure to visit book stores and review the many different types of art books on the market. There is a lot of help available for your instruction, direction and inspiration. For starters, check out the free books available here on the home page of Artist Daily.
Have fun — and good luck,
