Hi,

I just read about Claudia Seymour in the magazine september issue, see the article. It says that she uses a box on wheels to setup still lifes, the same kind as that one used by Scottsdale artists school. Anyone got a photo of a box like this, or any other good still life setup? I experiment with the setup myself, and try to find a good solution.

Here are a few photos of what I built.

It has racks under the table top where I set up still life's. There are wheels on it so I can roll it out of the way when needed. Remember that bigger wheels roll over objects better than small wheels..

Sorry the photos are a little dark but I think you can see what was done...

Great thank you! How do you do with lighting? Do you have any flaps to control the light?

I dont have a box, but a shelf and I attach my light to the shelf, giving a direct hard light that is close to my objects. I figure it would be better with a box, and my light not so close to the objects, but my studiospace is limited. Its actually in my bedroom at the moment. I also need something to control the light.
