The week leading up to Memorial Day weekend, and the weekend itself, I have experienced problems with staying online - online forums, chat rooms, art supply forums, etc. It seems that as I am printing info about a new art supply product, writing a response to someone's question on a forum/chat room, searching info about "whatever," I suddenly get disconnected to the internet. Why?
I made an angry phone call to customer service of my high-speed internet provider, here in Maryland. They calmly explained to me that there had been no interrruption in internet service, basically it wasn't them. What was it?
During the weekend, I noticed that whenever I went to a vendor site, like Amazon, I was never disconnected from the internet. Yet, whenever I went to a chatroom, forum, info search, etc., I suddenly got disconnected.
Anyone else experience this happening to them while online? Or, is there a compulsive consumer ghost in my machine? Maybe I need an exorcism?
I haven't seen this happen with other users on this forum at this point. But, maybe it has to do with your security settings or browser settings.
I would recommend doing some research into your browser settings, checking for "time out" activity in the help files.
Really, I'm not sure why this problem would occur.
Good luck,
Karyn
