Sarah thank you for the comment on my newest painting. I have patched the coal field but need paint the area, I'll post when finished.
Joyce welcome back and congratulations on retirement. Your art wall is wonderful. Your pears are coming along great.
C&Cs always welcome
Just got back from vacatoning in Cape Cod with family. I didn't get much painting in but had a chance to introduce my niece and cousins daughter to acrylics. We set up a little studio under a gazebo and had a blast. The daisy painting is my nieces work. She was very excited and so was I. It was such an inspiration to see girls work.
Karen ~ I bet you had a wonderful time in Cape Cod. I loved it there. Showing these girls how to paint is something they will never forget! Your niece
did a pretty good job on her daisy painting!!
Comments and critiques are welcome.
Joyce ~ your art wall is fantastic!!!! Good start on the pears also. Glad to see you're still painting.
Joyce, your art wall looks great! Hope you fill it up with more paintings soon.
Karen, looks like you had a fun time on your family holiday. Nothing like sharing art together.
Jen C & C's always welcome
Joyce, good to hear you are retired now and enjoying it. The art wall is a lovely display of your work and very nice you have shared it with us. Your WIP is really looking good. Hope you show us the finished painting.
Karen, you must have had a wonderful holiday at Cape Code. I visited there once and have always thought I could live there. It is a wonderful place. The girls look like they are deep in concentration and really focused on their work. What a great idea to set up the little studio. I bet they had a great time.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
Here are my first four of the one a day challenge on Wet Canvas.
Oil on canvas 3 6x6 and one 5x7
C and C always welcomed
Realy like the rooster Jen. Great highlights and the feel of feathers. He even has the look an old rooster gives you. Well done. The cup is well done too. Except the spoon looks a little bent. That may be the way it is in real life too.
Thanks Gerri painting fast and small is tricky but hopefully I will learn something if it is only not to try it again!!LOL
Well done Jen...I like the last one best of all.
feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
Geri ~ re: your poster............WELL SAID!!
Jen, you are busy, busy, busy!! Good job! I like them all!
Jen, you have really embraced your one a day challenge. Good work on all of them. Lots of detail on the rooster even with a small painting, good shape with the glass, the butterfly looks like it is floating and your cup and spoon has nice highlights.
