Hi Karen!  I hope your Pittsburg painting is almost done.  That would be a wonderful pick for the gallery hanging!

Hi Jen!  I hope you're having a good time with your family.

I have a drawing ALMOST READY to post for May.  Tomorrow should be a quiet day so I can finish!  I WILL be finished before the month is over  lol. Big Smile

Karen this underpainting looks like it will shape up to become another masterpiece.  Good subject - we have quite a few old stations in the area; most have been re-purposed but you can still see the original design.  Have fun with this!

Karen the landscape is coming along nicely.  In your tonal painting, I thought the clouds were mountains!  The RR track is esp. nice, moving my eye to the gap in the background.  Yes

Karen, I really like how this is shaping up. The sky and greenery are really well done and the rails are very believable and perspective on them and the buildings is great. You make a quite complex painting look easy as usual. What size is it?

i will be back home on Sunday after a fun if busy trip with the kidlets.

Hello Karen,

I agree with all that has been said...I enlarged it and thought the left hand side of the track  -facing us- the ground and bank very well painted..

Hi Karen, this is a lovely landscape. I very much like the palette you're using - to my eye, it's unusual but lovely. And I appreciate your posting it in stages so we could see how it developed.
