Hello Bonnie. I commented on your shells Challenge but I think the thread was being awkward as it wouldn't accept it.

I thought the shells were sensitively draw and if that was a paper cut out frame that was a good idea too. No need for you to draw the container. The circle encloses the shells and echoes the shapes within.

Put the portrait aside to dry.  Now on to the other commission.  This is for the portrait girls Mother.  A wedding gift for her husband.  Wedding is in August.  She wanted his bike with water waves and a saying.  I am going to attempt to draw the saying in the sand.  Stick out tongue

Karen, wow, the waves look great. Good luck with all the bits on the bike!  The saying will be tricky if you want to make it written in the sand but you can do it!

My grandson shoots archery at the NATIONAL ARCHERY SCHOOL PROGRAM.  My daughter wanted me to do some art work so the Adults could have shirts made to support the team.  This is what I sent her I have not heard back from her yet.  8x10 pen and ink on Bristol

How does Moses make tea??  Hebrews it.

Gerri, it looks great, nice layout. Is the Lion/cat the team mascot? Maybe he should have an arrow in his mouth! You got all the cat characteristics, I especially like the eyes.

Karen, your motorcycle painting is coming along beautifully. The water and waves are superb. And the message in the sand is a great idea although it might be difficult to do. It looks like it is going to be a good one.

Geri, great sketch of the cat. The nose and eye are great. the pen work looks good giving you lots of nice darks. They should be very happy with this.

Bonnie   C & C most welcome / appreciated
