Jen your observation is great. I had his chin too high. Thanks.
I believe i can host April if you still need someone. I will need some guidance as i have no idea how to go about it.
C&Cs always welcome
Thanks Karen for stepping up. I have sent you a reply in conversation. Claudia and Bonnie were both first timers this year and will I am sure be glad to help you out. Marsha and I will too. I am glad so many new ones want to get involved in hosting this year.
Thanks Jen. I will start looking for pics. I know April will come quick. I'll probably bug you guys when it gets closer with questions. Everyone who has hosted has done such a great job, I hope I can do as well.
Hello Bonnie. I commented on your shells Challenge but I think the thread was being awkward as it wouldn't accept it.
I thought the shells were sensitively draw and if that was a paper cut out frame that was a good idea too. No need for you to draw the container. The circle encloses the shells and echoes the shapes within.
feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
Thanks Karen hope you have fun finding pictures. I always do.
Fred, where are you? Have you gone to Mars or just deserted us for Facebook? I was hoping to see some of those abstracts that Ruthie has started. Please come back we miss your imagination and humour!
Karen, good for you, you will have fun hosting a month.
I did and I will help you, if help is needed.
The February Gallery is up! Thank you everyone for taking part,
I did miss the bears,too !!!
C&C always welcome
Claudia thank you for the offer to help. You did a fantastic job in February. Your gallery is great. Lots of wonderful paintings from your inspiration. Hope your having fun on your ski trip.
Put the portrait aside to dry. Now on to the other commission. This is for the portrait girls Mother. A wedding gift for her husband. Wedding is in August. She wanted his bike with water waves and a saying. I am going to attempt to draw the saying in the sand.
Karen, wow, the waves look great. Good luck with all the bits on the bike! The saying will be tricky if you want to make it written in the sand but you can do it!
My grandson shoots archery at the NATIONAL ARCHERY SCHOOL PROGRAM. My daughter wanted me to do some art work so the Adults could have shirts made to support the team. This is what I sent her I have not heard back from her yet. 8x10 pen and ink on Bristol
C and C always welcomed
Gerri, it looks great, nice layout. Is the Lion/cat the team mascot? Maybe he should have an arrow in his mouth! You got all the cat characteristics, I especially like the eyes.
Thanks Jen. I appreciate your comments.
Geri great job on the mascot.
Karen, your motorcycle painting is coming along beautifully. The water and waves are superb. And the message in the sand is a great idea although it might be difficult to do. It looks like it is going to be a good one.
Geri, great sketch of the cat. The nose and eye are great. the pen work looks good giving you lots of nice darks. They should be very happy with this.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
