Fred the only thing I can say about your pencil drawings is WELL DONE SIR.
C and C always welcomed
Thank you Nealey...I have sketches /mini paintings of the views from my room window wherever I have travelled...except in Russia fifteen years ago.
feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
Just curious has anybody heard from Sammy lately? I hope she has not run into more problems.
Finally a day off. Thank you for the interest and comments on my city WIP.
Nealy...no T square although that would have kept me from some of the crooked buildings. I am looking forward to the river and bridge but the city has been time consuming. I'm wondering if I'll ever get there.
Hereis the latest progress.
C&Cs always welcome
Nealy great zentangle sketch. Amazing you can do it in a day.
Fred I really enjoy seeing your work with yupo.
Sarah I really like your cityscape of Spain. Love your sunlit tree and how you handled the shadows.
Geri I too have been wondering about Sam. Hoping everything is okay.
Karen ~ Thanks for commenting on my Zentangle. It's easy to do one or two of them a day - the drawing I posted in Challenge yesterday was another matter; it took four days before I thought it was done.
Your Pitts painting is shaping up real well! It's got some NICE sun & shade contrasts. I was watching a documentary on PBS & the boy was from Pittsburgh. They panned along the river & I recognized the view from your painting right away!
Comments and critiques are welcome.
Karen, this is progressing so well. I can understand your wanting to get to the river. I don't think I would have the patience to do the work you have done on the buildings. They look wonderful. It must be taking a lot of time but it shows how much work you are putting into it.
Fred, really nice sketches on the new board. They turned out lovey, especially like the tree in the first one. I didn't think that type of board would work so well for sketches.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
Geri, I've been wondering about Sam as well and hope everything is okay.
Hello everybody, I just posted the February Challenge.
I haven't been here on Chatter for a while because I was sorting photos.
I had fun looking thru my pictures.
Thank you, to Jen helping me pick a theme
to Marsha helping me setting it up.
That was fun!!!
Hope everybody finds a picture to paint and has as much fun painting it as I had setting it up.
C&C always welcome
Happy New Month to All! Here is my February fun painting I did playing around today. What does this mean 6 more weeks of winter or 6 weeks till spring?
All C & C's always welcome
Hello Joyce! Cute groundhog! I looked it up - see below! My good friend lives in the small town right next to Punxsy and she says the theatrics are ridiculous! Haha
Joyce, this is soooo cute. I think this is on everyone's mind. When will this winter be coming to an end. With your big bright sun I'm sure he will see his shadow and it will scare him back in his hole for another 6 weeks of winter. However, I think with our constant lack of sun this winter he won't see his shadow and Spring will be just around the corner.
Joyce, cute and I'm sure your bright sunny picture will melt some snow.
We had alot of scary characters in town to scare the winter away. So I hope it worked worldwide.
I thought I share some photos. We took hundreds and it was a fantastic parade. The kid with the green hair is mine. He got kidnapped 5 times. But they didn't want to keep him.
Wow, Karen, your city scene is coming along and yes it does look time consuming. But it be worth the effort as it is already an outstanding painting.
It was suggested that I take my mask off. Because that would work better.
