Thank you, Karen!
C & C Welcome
Thank you, Kim! I think I will reply to comments like you have and do several in one. I fear I may miss somebody like I am doing now so if I do please forgive.
My kids had to learn a Poem in school and I think it fits just perfect.
It's from Christian Morgenstern, called "the three sparrows"
Its about the three sparrows sitting belly to belly. The sparrow to the right is called Erich and the sparrow to the left called Franz.
In the middle naughty little Hans.
They're staying warm while snow is falling.
And naughty little Hans has the warmest place!
Hope everybody who was hit by the cold front has a Erich and a Franz;)
Colored pencil drawing
C&C always welcome
Joyce, i wouldn't crop anymore, nice, colorful flower
Claudia - love the story; Erich, Hans, and Franz are perfect - in your cp drwg, even if not in the story. Like how you treated their surroundings.

Lovely little story Claudia. I have been watching the birds all day at the feeders. I seen several that looked like the three you painted. I just wish they were fox or field sparrows instead of the English sparrow (No offense Sarah). Lovely picture with good winter colors.
C and C always welcomed
Kim love your avatar. It looks like my fox terrier Pete. unfortunately him and the school bus had a little run in and he lost.
Joyce, your bird of paradise painting is just beautiful and you did an excellent job with it. The crop works well. You nailed it!
Jan, I love the way you cropped this and the way you showed that fat fluffy tummies. Well done. I have never downloaded from my i
pad I didn't know there was an app for downloading. I always use my mainframe.
Claudia, the poem is perfect for this painting. Love the fluffy bodies. Yes we all need snuggle buddies this time of the year!
