Jan ~ Hiya and Welcome and your pastel of the swans is wonderful!  The image is striking - your choice of using black paper really makes the image stand out!  Good job and hope to see more.Yes

Cristina ~ I love your painting style and this is no exception!  The butterfly texture is great.  I also forgot to mention before that I like your new profile photo too.  It would make a great drawing.

Comments and critiques are welcome.

Cristina, what a lovely painting Night Kiss is.  The bright red is beautiful and really draws the viewer into the painting.  I love the butterfly's colors and textures.  The background is beautiful, too.

I have tried several times to upload my recent picture but each time my file is too big. In frustration I tried to upload it to the gallery and was successful on my first try. What's up with that? My picture is the same size as my first one. Anyway, if you would like to take a look it is on the Member Gallery. Sorry.

Cristina, the butterfly is very nice with delicate wings in your Night Kiss. Love the red also, very dramatic. Also like the title, perfect.

I really have to get better at staying caught up.

First thank you for all the lovely comments on my winter tree.

Fred i love Santa's new transport in He's on his way.   Icelandic elves  had wonderful texture and Mr and Mrs Santa hugging is adorable.

Susan a fantastic acrylic of the swans.

Liz I love the soft colors you used for the swan.  Very nice composition.  The background mountains are lovely.

Catherine nice charcoal of the swan.  If I tried to draw from memory I'd have an ugly duckling.  Great job.  I also like the daisy charcoal.
