C & C Always Welcome
No new pics from me
C and C always welcomed
Susanrae, your box of crayons is wonderful. You got such vivid colours with the watercolour and they look waxy like crayons.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
This my abstract of the rare pumpbird. I call it A Pump. It is 2 3/4 x 7 1/2 ink and wc on Bristol
Geri, both your art and your sense of humor are just terrific. I like this abstract because I understand it!
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Geri, your abstract pump is very good, I enjoyed seeing it as have used one from time to time in the past. Since it is an abstract I can mention that I see a face in the top of the handle which must be the rare pumpbird.

SHHHHH he is undercover
Hello everybody, sorry at the moment I don't have time to comment on all your work. And, as always there were so many good drawings and paintings posted.
Like your pumpbird Geri.
While my son did his homework I did the apple on the teachers desk yesterday. It's charcoal and black cp.
The girl I did over a couple of homework sessions with my sons cp on a black piece of paper.
C&C always welcome
Hi Claudia, what beautiful drawings! The textures in the apple drawing are wonderful and so is the contrast in values. Such a great idea to put the apples with the coffee cup and pencils. I love the way one pencil is resting on the other one and has a shadow.
You captured the face of the schoolgirl so well, and the textures you created in this drawing are wonderful, too. It reminds me of a print in a way. Here, too, excellent contrast in values.
Claudia, your sketches are so well done. They have great values. I like the composition of the apple sketch with the apple front and center and you certainly got all the round shapes even the pencils. Your girl sketch is much more crisp and you have captured her expression so well. They are both excellent.
Claudia the apple for the teacher has a weird composition to it. I think that is why I like it. It captures your attention and you keep wanting to come back and look at it. The drawing is very good but not as good as the drawing of the little girl. You expect to see tears running at any time. Very well done.
Alec, Bonnie; and Claudia thank you for the good comments. You have to have a little fun in life or it wouldn't be worth living it.
GERI. I love the pump. and the little secret within..... very very well done
Claudia your sketches are super, Interesting still life concept but the apple is yummy. great job on the little girl.
Geri Nice job on the pump bird!! I see the face too.
Claudia. These are two good drawings particularly the one of the little girl. You have great contrast and texture in her.
Jen C & C's always welcome
Alex, Bonnie, Geri, Marsha and Jen, thank you so much for your kind comments, especially on the one with the girl. I was realy uncurtain if i should post it. I couldn't get her expression right. It's inbetween a smile and a pout. I know a couple of you did a drawing of her, respect, this was a difficult subject.
