Hi all, Claudia, excellent work on the harvest. I thought I'd go to the beach for the Aug challenge. This is pastel 8x61/2 on matboard

Thank you, Fred!
Well, looking at your beach-hmmm- maybe a beach vacation would be nice!!!
Very nice palm trees and sky.
Or, maybe going on a cruise ship in the back would be nice too.
C&C always welcome
Fred, it's a lovely beach scene with beautiful warm colors. You are getting good with those pastels.

Fred, more beautiful colors! I especially love the palm trees and foliage in the front ...
Claudia, a wonderfully vivid haying scene! I'm amazed at the detail and subtlety you portray in encaustics. So impressive.
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Hi Sheila, just wondering if you received the message I sent? Thank you.
Hi Anisha, welcome to the group. I am looking forward to viewing your art.
Claudia, lovely harvest scene. The sky is just right with the floating white clouds and the bales with the rings on the ends are nicely done. Very nice painting.
Fred, a nice dreamy painting, wish I was there relaxing on the beach. I really like the palm trees and the beach.
Bonnie C & C most welcome / appreciated
Fred: Your painting is "HOT, HOT, HOT!!!" Sizzling good job!!!
Jen C & C's always welcome
This is a great collection of photos for artwork. Thanks so much! Having a hard time choosing which one to do. Donna
Sheila ~ Thanks for posting the August challenge photos. It must be time consuming to pull together photos that will attract a variety of artists. Thank you! The REO Speedwagon is great - never saw one before. I'll have to Google to see what the entire truck looks like.
Claudia ~ You are prolific! Nice harvest landscape. You may live in Bavaria, but that exact scene is common here also in Western New York.
Everyone's painting inspires me
Comments and critiques are welcome.
Claudia another great encaustic piece.
Fred, I want to be sitting under that umbrella.
C&Cs always welcome
Alex, Bonnie, Jen, Nealey and Karen thank you, i love all your wonderful comments. Well, it`s the time of year to do encaustic. Just started working on an other piece yesterday. And, I discoverd that in ancient times in Egypt, they didn`t need heating tools for the Wax. Doing it on my patio wih tempertures in the high 90°F every thing melts.
I wanted to do the pool girl, but did this instead. My youngest son cooling of under our sprinkler.
I hope that is ok for this month challenge.
