Greetings!
Around 40 years ago I put down my crayons. So long ago that I don't even remember why.With that said, I recently got bitten by the sketch bug while running sound for a prophetic art symposium held at my church. Yeah I know, strangely obvious to go there after seeing some of the amazing work done at the symposium.
Faces really are the most fascinating subject for me, and so far I prefer pencil over color. With that in mind here is my first practice attempt of an eye as seen on one of your free books.
No smoothing done yet, and it is only strait on. So....

Very nice. Maybe a little more shadow of the eye next to the nose?
