Suzanne, I think you did a splendid job with the Narcissus flycatcher,  I agree with everything that Alex Said I can't add anything to it.  Beautiful job.   I'm glad you got my invite.....  so good to see you again.

Joyce, so nice to see your work here. You have come such a long way and these are really good work. The koi look so round and fat and you have some great patterns on them. I also like the Cromford canal . You have good depth in the painting, and the trees are very well done.nice reflections in the water too.

Joyce.. the painting of the fish is wonderful! I love the colors of the fish against the color of the water. The little watercolor is also a very nice painting. I like who you've portrayed the slow, lazy water and the warm wooded areas on either side. Very nice work on both of these.

Suzanne..What a sweet little Flycatcher! You've captured it's gentleness and also got the colors dead on. Very nice little pastel.

Joyce, it is nice to see some of your work. Your koi are lovely, I especially like the delicate fins against the dark background, their eyes and the composition works well. Nice ptg. The canal painting is also nice. The reflections in the water gives some nice colour and protrays the calmness of the canal and I like the closest tree, it has nice texture.

Sarah, this is a really good painting of Goldie in the lilly pads. I love the water and the shine on the lilypads. I think the fish looks Koi and swimming along with a nice sense of movement. A lovely painting.

I did this quickie of the old car last night. I had a hard time with the car as the details were not very clear. Hopefully I have the feel of it. It was that old devil perspective again!!!

in my sketchbook with pencil.

Joyce, what a charming fish painting.  Great colors and nice movement.  I like the water, too.  I remember the landscape at Cromford Canal.  It is still very lovely.

Sarah, you have some good values under the lily pad which makes then stand out.  You also have beautiful colors in the water.  This is a very nice watercolor painting.

Jen, you are so diligent with that pencil.  This is a nice study of the old barn and car.
