A little better photo
Oh my gosh Fred! That's great. The round building on the left looks like you're standing there looking at it.

Captured beautifully Fred.

FRED FRED.... I would put this on my wall today.... I love it, I had you in mind when I did the Ghost towns. I have seen your past work and when the bears were traveling all over the world, I saw what you can do. This is wonderful.... I'm so happy you did it , now do the sister to it with the old car.... hint.... This one is Beautiful.... you captured the desert west perfectly....
MARSHA
C & C Always Welcome
It takes courage to learn about oneself from one’s failures as well as from one’s successes.
Cath, great sketch... your finish will be wonderful...
Jen: the gremlins are among us...
Alex, Jen, Jean, Bonnie, Thank you .... I have another waldo in that last egg as well. Yes it is a centrifuge design working outward from the center. I like words too.
I forgot to add that my pencil drawing of Aubrey was 5x7 on a sketch pad, It really isn't a sketch. I'm not good at loose sketches, I get tied up in detail... That is what I have to let go of.... details.....
Thanks Kim
Marsha nice start on your sketch of Aubrey and another great easter egg
Catherine nice sketch but its time for some more color you're being to critical of yourself
Fred now thats a landscape great job thats how I remember the desert
Jim C&C welcomed
Marsha, you have really taken to Zentangle. This egg is gorgeous and so well done. I like the sad faces. Every detail of it is perfect.
Catherine, the delicate pinks you've added to Aubrey's dress, shoes and bow and also the colored eggs made this a very charming Easter portrait. I like it very much.
Marsha again, you got another egg done. I like it a lot and I love the speckled shadow. Your drawing of Aubrey is looking very good and you are wise you get familiar with the subject before the final painting or drawing. Her dress, sweater, basket are all excellent. The thing that I would check against the photo is the broadness of her head and face. She may have full hair but it seems that it is still too broad.
Oh, my, Fred, this ghost town painting is wonderful. Everything about it is so well done - the buildings, sky, trees on the hill and foliage in the foreground. I particularly like the gray tones you used for the grasses that are closest to the viewer. I don't know why I like that, but I do. Great painting, Fred.

C&C welcome!
I don't understand it. I have been getting all of the post in my Email and I still get last months challenge and chatter but not this months challenge. I kept thinking that it was strange that there was not anything posted so I finaly checked it on the forum page.. 7 pages that I had missed and good work too.
Fred you outdid yourself with that fine pastel of the ghost town. You and those pastels are becoming good friends. Well done sir
Jean your river scene was really nice too I thought it was an oil painting until I read your comments
Jen both sets of eggs are well done. I believe I like the color ones the best but the black and white one in that picture is my favorite egg.
Jim your painting of Aubrey is well done. I see you are getting away from the darker palette. I think that is a good idea. Catherin your drawings are very nice I like the 2nd one best because of the darks are much stronger. They remind me of turn of the century magazine illustration
The daffodils WC is great Bonnie. You handle watercolor very well. Maybe some day I will too
C and C always welcomed
