Pastel Teachers' hands are usually chalk-full. (by Marsha Ross)
C & C Always Welcome
I just heard the Zoo is closed as well.
Jen C & C's always welcome
Well today a group of us painted this photo booth for the Fall Festival on the 19th. we had fun and although it is not finished we got a lot done.
about 5' x4' acrylics
Jen: how adorable, you will all have so much fun with the pictures..... hmmm no blue suede shoes?
I was going to paint them blue but one of the other ladies painted them black before I said! I am having fun but I really rushed this. If they had given me more time to think it through I might have come up with a better design. They wanted to do it right then. The witch is a little out of proportion too! I am thinking maybe glitter for her shoes. the girls would love that!
Jen: Blue glitter over the black would look really nice. and yes the girls will love glittery shoes....
Shelly: I apologize for the late comment, I just saw your cheery little pastel, I missed it. If you want to learn about pastel grounds you can look online, When I got my first set I struggled with the same issue for awhile, then Alex and Sam and Jen steered me in the right direction. now I use Wallis paper or Uart. I also tried gesso with pumice and tinted it, then put it onto a heavy watercolor paper that worked really well. Lately I have gone back to watercolors, I should now go back and do pastels again.
again, your little pastel is very cheery.... good job
Excuse my ignorance but what in the wide wide world of sports is cartridge paper and what size is A5
C and C always welcomed
GERI: I hope this helps. think, "fold in half, fold in half again, fold in half again. ....
A5 is one of the most common paper sizes in the world and measures 148 mm x 210 mm (5.8 x 8.3 inches). Often used for brochures, flyers and prescriptions, A5 is a versatile size that can be folded in half to form two A6 sheets.
Thank you Marsha.
Every time I put up my Avatar it disappears. Do you think they are trying to tell me something???
Turps245: the girls would love that!
Isn't that spelled ghouls ???
Jen, gotta say, you and your art studio friends do the neatest projects. They always look like fun. This is really cute and I know it will be a hit Asa photo booth.
Marsha, I always wondered about A6 paper, too. Thanks for the explanation.
