Fred, I love the painting of Bennie and Ruthie touring the universe.
Claudia, such a neat start on the painting of your son and dog "communicating" via Skype. Please be sure to show it again when it is finished.
Jen, an adorable Halloween painting to use for a card. I especially love the witch - her face, hair, hat, stockings, the lantern on her broomstick!
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you Nealey, Jen and Alex, Ofcourse I will post the finished version too.
Jen, This Halloweencard is beautiful, did your cat model for the one on the broomstick.

Hi everyone. I have been really busy again but have been watching all the great work. I was able to finish this decorative painting for my sister-in-law's new bedroom.
C&Cs always welcome
Hi all, WOW Karen your sister in law will be overwhelmed I'm sure. Jen, thats a great Halloween card the only thing missing is Bennie or Ruthie I tried something more conventional today a seascape and I can see I need a wee bit more practice I call it quiet beach 11x14 watercolor 140# cp

Thank you Fred. I love the beach scene. Looks calm and relaxing.
Karen, what a lovely gift for your sister-in-law! I personally think lilies are extremely difficult to paint but you've done a beautiful job. My favorite blossoms are the upper righthand and upper lefthand one because their shapes and positions are so interesting.
Fred, you can design my vacation paradise any day. This is so peaceful and serene ... I especially love the palm tree and mountains - your mountains are always wonderful.
Beautiful Lily Karen size, medium ??

Karen ~ Nice oil painting of the lillies. It's very graphic!
Karen, your painting of the Lilies is beautiful.
Fred, nice beach, I which I could go there. It feels like fall here.
"His Masters Voice" is finished (or almost finished. I saw that I missed the claws on the front paw).
Thank you, Sarah,for your help!!!
The Laptop is still a little off, but this is the best I can do for now.
The wood in the back I had lighter and than I worked on it again, hmm- maybe I'm overdoing it with the dark again. It didn' look as dark when I was painting it. But in the picture on the computer it does.
Well, I'm happy with it and it was fun to do.
Encaustic on wood, 27,6" x 19,7", 70cm x 50cm .
Hello Claudia...you only had to simplify it a little bit........the laptop part on the floor does have to be horizontal..optical illusion. Place a piece of straight edged paper level across the painting and I think you will see what I mean. But, you don't have to change it!!!!
I like the way you have linked the background to the laptop and the dog's head.
Didn't help much but was pleased that you asked.
WOW Claudia that's a great doggie portrait, A quickie today Global Warming ? 11x14 watercolor
Fred your celestial Rainbow reminds me of the old sci fi show that was on in the early 60's. I think it was called 5th dimension.
C and C always welcomed
