Jen C & C's always welcome
I know I haven't been around a lot. I have had the kitten playing fun and reading bug. At art this week in an effort to get out of the front door before the cat escaped I left my pastel painting at home so when I got to the studio I amused and challenged myself doing some very quick 9some only a few seconds) by drawing with a thick nib pen some of my fellow artists as they worked. They don't stand still!!! Not very good results but I thought you might like a look. In my sketch book
some really good lively sketches, should come in very useful for future paintings.

feel free to make constructive c/c...no digital alterations please
Jen, I just love these sketches! My favorite is number five, the woman sketching on the piece of art that shows figures on it. What a wonderful drawing! You've inspired me. On Tuesday I'll be going to a book discussion. If I'm early, I'll sit and sketch people in the library.
Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
Fred: I would have taken this one and posted it on my facebook but your name is on the bottom and I don't want you tpo get into any trouble. I would like you to get a sudo or pen name for your journalistic thoughts and sign those with that name.

C & C Always Welcome
Shelly love your digi paintings. I have that app as well. but I do like to create my own art. I have several apps for self creation as well. all of those were done with an app that I had to do it on my own. but yours look great. it give you a chance to see how paint can be applied if you were to try your own painting. good job. both versions.
Jen, Love the sketches, you captured the movement and activity. I like the one with the gal holding the original while painting. the the fellow looks like he is the coach or director.... great job
Jen, very good sketches, number 5 is my favorite too. Love to see a painting of one of those later.
C&C always welcome
Fred the abstract pastel you did is my favorite so far, love the flow of colors.
Shelly, your dgital art is very nice. Great effects on the water. I use photoshop. I normaly use it just to work and manipulate pictures. It was fun to try something else. Time consuming so.
Jen, Nice sketches and I agree with all the cool comments you received. Marsha, I'm glad you like my State of the Union satire, feel free to post on your facebook, I do on my page. now Bennie and Ruthie go on a sightseeing tour of the galaxy. Fred, very nice to see the colorful galaxies up close. I like your pastels.
I talked to my son via skype this weekend. And Bandit our dog heard his voice, didn't know what to think. I had the dog on my lap so my son can see him and talk to him. Dog looked realy puzzled at the monitor and than he ran into the garden to look for his Master.
My father in law sad that reminded him of the picture of the dog infront of the gramophone. HIS MASTERS VOICE.
This is my unfinished version, I need help with the perspective of the laptop and I need suggestions for the Wall in the back. Stencils?
Hi Claudia ~ This painting tells a heartwarming story! Dogs are funny that way! When I'm not home, our dog, Cosmo loves to hear me on the telephone. He runs from the phone to the back window where he can see the garage! I think your perspective on the laptop is fine - you'll need to paint your son's face on the screen, right? Can't wait to see this finished.
Comments and critiques are welcome.
Fred ~ Nice colours o n the galaxy paintings, tho I thought the spaceship with its exhaust was a sperm hitting the eggs, LOL
Jen ~ It's nice to see your motion figures. You captured movement, that's the important part. Trying to record a few seconds of a pose IS difficult but rewarding! Your real-life art group looks like a lot of fun!
Thanks for the comment on my sketches.
Fred, looks like Bernie and Ruth are getting quite the tour. I love those colours!
Claudia, I love Skype for keeping in touch and this is so cute with the dog. Yes that is just what they do look everywhere for the person they can hear. You are close with the perspective are you going to put in all the apps! Ha, ha! I would just make the Bg generic greens in abstract.
